Zenith has launched a fully digital used EV salary sacrifice scheme, aimed at improving affordability and accessibility in the electric vehicle market.
The new offer allows employees to lease pre-owned EVs through short-term, flexible contracts starting from 12 months, a move that lowers both financial and psychological barriers to electrification. All vehicles are AA Safety Inspected, come with a battery warranty, full maintenance cover, and even a seven-day return period, with delivery in as little as two weeks.
The launch comes as data shows EV affordability and confidence are improving fast. According to Tusker’s 2025 EV Driver Survey, 38% of drivers now choose EVs for tax and NI savings — up from 31% last year — while concerns over range and charge point access have fallen by more than 20 percentage points.
Meanwhile, used EV prices continue to stabilise. Analysis from CarGurus shows that average second-hand EVs are now around 10% cheaper than equivalent petrol models, while BCA reports sustained buyer confidence and strong residual performance across three-to-five-year-old EVs.
Andy Wolff, Zenith’s Corporate Commercial Director, said: "Zenith launched the very first car salary sacrifice scheme back in 1999, so this new proposition is the next natural step in providing affordable access to electric vehicles as we continue to drive towards net zero.”
