Zapmap, the UK-based app and platform that helps EV drivers locate, plan and pay for electric vehicle charging, has launched a new electric-vehicle charging card, giving drivers access to over 40,000 charge points across 30+ UK networks.
Working alongside the Zapmap app, the card allows contactless payment at supported chargers, with sessions and receipts automatically tracked in-app.
The card's available now to Premium subscribers for a small fee, it will roll out to all users later this summer. Zapmap says the card will boost charging confidence and convenience.
The UK's charging network continues to grow rapidly, with 8670 new charge points added in the first half of the year – a 27% increase. This takes the total UK charger count to 82,369 devices.
