Europcar Mobility Group UK has expanded its electric vehicle rental fleet with the addition of the Polestar 2, following the successful launch of the Polestar 4 earlier this year. This new addition broadens Europcar’s range of zero tailpipe-emission vehicles, offering drivers an accessible way to experience premium electric motoring.
The Polestar 2 is a stylish, high-performance electric fastback with a range of up to 344 miles (WLTP) and fast-charging capabilities, making it ideal for business or leisure travel. Now available to rent from Europcar, the Polestar 2 caters to both new and experienced EV drivers seeking flexibility and quality.
Tom Middleditch, Head of Electric Mobility at Europcar, said the addition supports the brand’s commitment to sustainable mobility. All EVs come with at least 80% charge at collection and can be returned with just 20%, easing range concerns. The move forms part of Europcar’s strategy to provide a broad, low-emission fleet.
