Jaecoo has confirmed UK pricing for its latest compact SUV, the Jaecoo 5, which will arrive in late summer in both petrol and fully electric forms. Prices start at £24,505 for the petrol model and £27,505 for the electric E5.
Sharing its platform with the Omoda 5, the petrol version uses a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine producing 147PS and 159g/km CO2 emissions. The E5 adopts a 61.1kWh battery paired with a 207PS motor, giving up to 248 miles of WLTP range and 0-62mph in 7.7 seconds.
Positioned below the Jaecoo 7, it features a boxy SUV design and rivals models such as the Ford Puma and Hyundai Kona. Entry-level Pure trim includes halogen headlights, a 13.2-inch touchscreen, Sony six-speaker audio, 540-degree parking cameras, wireless phone mirroring and manually adjustable seats.

The Luxury trim, from £28,000 petrol or £30,505 electric, adds heated and ventilated power seats, upgraded Sony eight-speaker audio, cooled wireless charging and a sunroof.
Jaecoo says the 5 and E5 offer affordable SUV choices, with high equipment levels, appealing to drivers seeking a value-driven alternative in the compact crossover segment.
