Nissan and Octopus Energy have officially launched the new Nissan Charge app, marking a major step forward in simplifying and enhancing the public EV charging experience across Europe. The app is now available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Powered by Octopus’s Electroverse platform, the app gives Nissan drivers access to over one million public charging points from more than 1200 operators, including IONITY, Allego, Aral pulse and TotalEnergies. Key features include advanced filtering by charging speed and plug type, dynamic pricing updates, real-time charger availability, and integrated payment options including Google and Apple Pay.
The app also supports effortless setup, account creation within minutes, and free Nissan Charge card pairing. With over 500 chargers added daily, users benefit from a constantly expanding network.
The collaboration underlines Nissan’s commitment to making EV ownership more convenient and connected. Soufiane El Khomri, Director at Nissan Energy, said the app is central to Nissan’s broader EV strategy, complementing initiatives such as EV36Zero and the launch of new models like the MICRA and LEAF.
The Nissan Charge app is a practical leap toward mainstream EV adoption, providing both everyday users and long-distance drivers with smarter, easier and more cost-effective charging options.
