Octopus and Visa launch new fleet pay-all card

Octopus Energy’s Electroverse has joined forces with Visa to launch a smart new payment card for fleets, promising to simplify life for both drivers and managers.

Built on Visa Fleet 2.0, it’s the first of its kind to hit the market, and it goes far beyond charging. Drivers can use it for everything from tolls and car washes to meals on the road, while managers retain total control over spend, setting limits, tailoring budgets and monitoring use in real time.

All expenses, receipts and journeys feed into a single dashboard, giving managers instant access to driver IDs, VAT breakdowns, charging patterns and spending habits, without the usual paperwork headaches.

Security and fraud protection are baked in, ensuring budgets stay safe.

Integrated with Electroverse’s million-strong global charging network, the card is part of the growing Octopus Fleet toolkit, designed to ease the transition to electric transport. For Britain’s six million fleet vehicles, this could mark a tipping point where managing costs, charging and driver spend finally becomes as straightforward as the shift to clean mobility itself.
