Autumn Budget BiK Tax Chart to 2030

HRUX and CarReward have compiled a Benefit in Kind (BiK) Tax Chart, showing how the Chancellor's Autumn Budget will affect BiK rates until the end of the decade.

The new rates strongly favour fully-electric vehicles, but significantly downgrade the tax advantages or running Plug-In Hybrids (PHEVs). Likewise, the most polluting vehicles, with CO2 emissions over 150g/km, face a rate of 38% by 2029/30. At that point, EV drivers will have a 9% rate and PHEV drivers a 19% rate.
