Polestar 4 SUV unveiled, adding practicality to stylish EV

Fleets that enjoyed the Polestar 4 now have the option of a more practical version. Meet the new Polestar 4 SUV - and it has a back window. 

It's aimed at the compact executive SUV market, but also bridges between the electric estate market, too. It has up to 655-litres of boot space (1,665-litres seats down). However, it does now have roof rails capable of carrying up to 100kg - ideal for large roof boxes.

The Polestar 4 SUV has two powertrain options, beginning with the rear motor producing 272hp and up to 391-miles of range (WLTP). Next is the Dual motor variant with all-wheel-drive (AWD), which delivers 544hp. 

0-62mph in the Dual Motor takes 3.9-seconds and up to 373-miles of claimed range (WLTP). Both variants use a 100kWh battery and Polestar claims charging from 10-80% takes just 30-minutes when hooked up to a 200kW DC charger.

Pricing starts at £54,750 for the base rear motor model, rising to £60,750 for the Dual motor. The Performance pack version, adding Brembo brakes and Pirelli P-Zero tyres, starts at £68,250.

It acts as a car-shaped power station, too. The Polestar 4 SUV has Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, allowing the battery to supply up to 3.3kW of AC power to external equipment. There's even a new Camping mode, which provides climate control, entertainment and access to vehicle functions while the car is stationary.

Climbing inside, the Polestar 4 SUV has the same plush, upmarket cabin as the standard car. A large 15.4-inch infotainment screen dominates the dashboard with integrated Google Gemini, providing voice assistance for queries including trip planning and translation. 

For fleets, the Polestar 4 SUV represents an expansion of an already-popular car from the marque. It adds more practicality and a touch more convention to the Scandinavian EV as well as continuing to represent competitive value compared to rivals from Germany, Japan, and China.

Production of the Polestar 4 SUV already began in the second quarter of 2026, with first deliveries are expected by Q4.
