The British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) will host its annual Fleets in Charge Conference on 2 July at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster. The one-day event focuses on the UK’s electric vehicle (EV) transition.
This year’s theme, 'Changing Demand or Demanding Change?', will explore how policy, infrastructure, and shifting market dynamics are shaping real-world EV adoption.
The conference will bring together key figures from government and industry, including Richard Bruce from the Department for Transport, Edmund King (AA), Dr Vicky Edmonds (EVA England), Vicky Read (Charge UK), Lisa Brankin (Ford) and Ian Plummer (Auto Trader).
Topics will include used-EV market challenges, charging infrastructure shortfalls, changing consumer habits, AI in aftersales, and the rise of new automotive players.
BVRLA chief executive Toby Poston commented: “Fleets are leading the way on the EV transition, but they can’t do it alone. We are at a pivotal moment. The industry is making huge strides, but it’s doing so against a backdrop of mixed messages, global headwinds and local challenges.”
Tickets are now available, with reduced prices for BVRLA members.
