SUV manufacturer Dacia will add a new Hybrid 150 4x4 powertrain to its Dacia Duster and Dacia Bigster models in the UK later this year, combining electrified efficiency with all-wheel drive capability.
The new system pairs a 48-volt mild hybrid setup with a combustion engine delivering 150hp and 230Nm of torque, supported by an additional 87Nm from an electric motor. Power is transmitted through a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, with steering-wheel paddles allowing drivers to override shifts when extra control is needed.

The hybrid system aims to balance lower fuel consumption with practical performance, while the 4x4 drivetrain provides extra traction for rural routes, winter driving or sites with challenging terrain.
Both SUVs are positioned as affordable, utility-focused options, making them potentially attractive to business users needing durable vehicles without premium price tags.
Full UK specifications, including efficiency figures, pricing and ordering timelines, are expected to be confirmed closer to the model’s launch later this year.
