Polestar 4 updated with sharper ride and revised fleet-focused line-up

Polestar has opened UK orders for an updated version of the Polestar 4, introducing chassis upgrades, a simplified model range and lower lifecycle carbon emissions.

The biggest changes are aimed at improving the way the car drives. Revised dampers, springs and anti-roll bars, together with more precise steering, are designed to deliver a smoother ride while making the electric SUV feel more composed and engaging on both motorways and country roads.

Buyers can still choose between a rear-motor version with up to 385 miles of WLTP range or a more powerful dual-motor model offering 544PS, four-wheel drive and up to 367 miles of range.

Polestar has also introduced a simpler specification structure. Business models focus on the features many company car drivers will use every day, including Pilot Assist, lane change assistance, automated parking and rear privacy glass. Stepping up to Prime adds upgrades such as a Harman Kardon sound system, head-up display, reclining heated rear seats, three-zone climate control and adaptive Pixel LED headlights.

Alongside the driving updates, Polestar says the latest model has an even lower lifecycle carbon footprint. The rear-motor version is now rated at 19.4 tonnes CO₂e, while the dual-motor model falls to 20.3 tonnes CO₂e, reflecting continued improvements in the brand's manufacturing processes.

Priced from £56,750, the updated Polestar 4 continues to strengthen its appeal for company car drivers looking for long electric range, premium refinement and a distinctive alternative in the growing executive EV market.
