Mazda has confirmed UK pricing and fleet plans for the new Mazda6e ahead of first deliveries this summer, with business contract hire rates starting from £332 + VAT per month.
Priced from £38,995, the rear-wheel drive Mazda6e is aimed at the growing fleet market for electric saloons currently dominated by cars like the Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2.
The EV uses a 78kWh battery offering up to 348 miles of WLTP range, while 195kW rapid charging can take the battery from 10 to 80% in 24 minutes.

Mazda is also offering retail and contract hire customers a Pod Point home charger for £499 when ordering before 30 June, alongside a £500 public charging credit through the Mazda charging app.
Unlike many SUV-focused EV launches, the Mazda6e sticks closely to the formula that made the original Mazda6 popular with company car drivers, combining saloon styling with hatchback practicality and rear-wheel drive handling.
Standard equipment includes a 14.6-inch touchscreen, panoramic roof, augmented reality head-up display and 19-inch alloy wheels. Mazda says the suspension, steering and braking have been specifically tuned for UK roads.
