In the market for an EV? These are the models impressing judges in 2026

Drivers weighing up their next electric or hybrid car have a fresh shortlist to consider after the EcoCar Electrified Top 50 Awards highlighted the standout models across the market.

Taking the overall Electrified Car of the Year title was the Fiat Grande Panda, which was also named Best Affordable Electric Car. Starting from £20,995 as an EV, judges praised its value, practicality and family-friendly appeal.
