Omoda & Jaecoo launches UK parts hub network to cut vehicle downtime

Omoda & Jaecoo UK has launched an eight-site regional parts distribution network aimed at speeding up repairs and reducing vehicle downtime for retail and fleet customers.

The new Super Parts Hub network holds genuine Omoda and Jaecoo parts closer to retailers, repairers and trade customers, with hubs covering England, Scotland and Wales. Sites are operated by retailer groups including Park’s, SG Petch, Perrys, Pentagon, Bassetts, Toomey, Sandown and Vospers.

The network stretches from East Kilbride in Scotland to Exeter and Plymouth in the South West, with regional stock intended to shorten the journey between parts warehouses and workshops and improve turnaround times for servicing, repairs and accident work.

The brand says the initiative will be particularly important for fleet operators, where every day a vehicle is off the road can create additional cost and disruption.

The hubs complement the recent Vehicle Off Road (VOR) partnership with the RAC, which went live in September. A dedicated RAC team monitors national parts availability alongside Omoda and Jaecoo's internal team, using demand trends to help anticipate stocking requirements.

The launch also follows the manufacturer’s enhanced seven-year/100,000-mile warranty, which extends full cover to more components and applies to all Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles sold in the UK since the introduction of the two brands.

The company said the combined investment in parts availability, VOR support and warranty cover is designed to strengthen its aftersales operation as its UK customer base continues to grow. For fleets, this means the support behind Jaecoo and Omoda vehicles - both very new brands in the UK - has increased significantly, providing fleet operators with more confidence in Chinese brands as they become more common sights on British roads.
