The best fleet deal is not always the cheapest monthly rental. Charging access, mileage, vehicle size and driver expectations can make very different electrified cars the right choice for different roles.

This week’s shortlist covers a value-focused EV hatchback, a sportier compact EV, a plug-in hybrid SUV and a larger PHEV for drivers who still need long-distance flexibility.

BYD Dolphin Comfort 60.4kWh

The Dolphin is one of the strongest value propositions here for fleets looking to widen EV eligibility without moving drivers into a very small city car.

At under £240 per month before VAT, it also shows how competitive mainstream EV leasing has become.

For fleet managers, the main attraction is the combination of useful range, manageable monthly cost and low Benefit-in-Kind.

CUPRA Raval VZ Extreme 52kWh

The Raval provides a more driver-focused option for fleets wanting to keep EV choice lists appealing without moving into premium-car pricing.

The OMODA 9 provides a larger, higher-specification plug-in hybrid option for fleets prepared to consider newer manufacturers.

Fleet managers should compare total lease commitment, Benefit-in-Kind, charging behaviour, fuel or electricity cost, insurance, servicing and actual driver duty cycle before choosing.
