Audi has revealed the next-generation Q3, with orders opening in September ahead of first deliveries later this year. The new model retains the same platform as the outgoing version, shared with the Audi A3, but introduces a more muscular design language to align with the brand’s latest electric models. Flush door handles, sharper styling cues and an illuminated rear Audi logo give the SUV a more contemporary look, while a Sportback variant with a lower roofline will also be offered.
Inside, the Q3 takes a big step forward in technology. A 12.8-inch MMI touchscreen is paired with an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit, both integrated into a wraparound driver-focused display. Most controls are now digital, reducing physical buttons, while moving the gear selector to the steering column frees up extra storage. Boot capacity is 488 litres, expanding to 1,386 litres with the rear seats folded.
Audi has equipped the new Q3 with features usually reserved for higher-end models, including digital LED matrix headlights and Emergency Assistant, which can intervene if the driver fails to respond. Three trims are available: Sport with 18-inch alloys, heated seats and adaptive cruise; S Line with 19-inch wheels, leather and sport styling; and Edition 1 with 20-inch alloys, sport suspension, progressive steering and a heated wheel.
Powertrain options include a 150PS mild-hybrid petrol, two quattro petrols with 204PS and 265PS, and a 150PS diesel. The highlight for fleets will be the 272PS eHybrid plug-in, offering up to 72 miles of electric range and a benefit-in-kind tax rate of just 9%.
Prices range from £38,300 for the 150PS Sport to £52,450 for the range-topping 265PS Edition 1, with the eHybrid starting at £45,800.
