Hyundai Motor UK has opened UK order books for the new IONIQ 6 N, confirming prices from £65,800 for its latest high performance electric model. Built on the same E GMP platform as the IONIQ 5 N, the IONIQ 6 N is positioned as a more aerodynamically focused performance EV with a distinct driving character.
With N Grin Boost engaged, the dual motor system delivers 650 PS and 770 Nm of torque, enabling a 0 to 62 mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 160 mph. Power is supported by revised suspension geometry, stroke sensing electronically controlled dampers and an electronic limited slip differential to improve grip, stability and driver confidence.
Hyundai has also refined its N e Shift system with shorter ratios and enhanced the N Active Sound Plus setup to create a more immersive driving experience. Inside, bucket seats trimmed in Alcantara and leather, N specific pedals and dedicated drive mode controls reinforce its performance focus.
Ashley Andrew, President of Hyundai and Genesis UK, said the model “delivers even more to the enthusiast driver”, building on the success of the IONIQ 5 N. The IONIQ 6 N will be offered in a single UK specification, with a limited range of colour and roof options available.
