The Tesla Model 3 is now the UK’s fastest-selling used car under four years old, according to Indicata’s latest Market Watch report. Despite mixed fortunes for Tesla in the new car sector across Europe, used buyers continue to favour the Model 3 in strong numbers. Joining it in the top three are the Nissan Qashqai and Volvo XC40.
Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) overall hit a record 6.28% share of the used market in March – more than double the figure from a year earlier. BEVs now make up 8.4% of dealer stock, with market supply and demand currently well balanced.
Used BEV prices remain steady, falling just 0.6% between February and April 2025. Indicata notes this is the eighth consecutive month of pricing stability.
