Tesla has unveiled an updated Model Y for 2025. The ‘Juniper’ version features a redesigned front inspired by the Cybertruck, improving aerodynamics and safety.
Suspension changes enhance ride comfort and refinement, while acoustic glass and extra soundproofing reduce interior noise by 20%. Following last year’s Model 3 facelift, the new Model Y offers improved interior quality. The minimalist dashboard retains all controls in the central touchscreen, with a second screen now available for rear passengers. Unlike the Model 3, it keeps a conventional indicator stalk.
Tesla has optimised energy efficiency across all systems, boosting real-world range without extra cost. The Launch Series Variant, priced at £60,990, features a Long Range AWD powertrain with a 353-mile range, up from 313 miles.
More versions will follow later this year.
According to in-depth brand research by 360 Media Group, Tesla ranks in the Top 5 for Brand Consideration, and 7th for Brand Loyalty.
However for Brand Appeal it ranks 15th. FleetWise wonders if the new Model Y is set to improve the perception of Teslas among fleet managers?
