Geely has opened reservations for its first UK model, the all-electric EX5 SUV, ahead of its sales launch on 24 October 2025.
Priced from £31,990, the EX5 undercuts rivals such as the Škoda Enyaq, Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5. A £99 refundable deposit secures early delivery and includes a free Andersen A3 7kW home charger.
Already sold in China and Australia, the EX5 will be offered in the UK with a 60.2kWh battery, giving up to 267 miles of range. Charging from 30 to 80% takes around 20 minutes, while vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle capability is included. Power output is 218hp via Geely’s 11-in-one drive system.
Three trims are available: SE (£31,990) with heated seats, adaptive cruise and a 15.4-inch touchscreen; Pro (£33,990) with 19-inch alloys and interior upgrades; and Max (£36,990) with a panoramic roof, ventilated massaging seats, premium audio and head-up display.
The EX5 carries a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, and comes with a six-year base warranty, plus two further years. Service intervals are every 24 months or 20,000 miles.
Mike Yang, general manager of Geely Auto UK, said: “We believe we have a strong introductory model in the Geely EX5; a global car with standout features tailored for the UK market. The packages and support we have in place are designed to make ownership as seamless as possible.”
Geely has also partnered with Octopus Energy to provide charging solutions and is building a franchised retail network ahead of launch.
